SPONSORED RIDE
The Hampton Estate plays host to a wide variety of events many of which are associated with local Surrey based charities. The annual sponsored ride takes place in September and has been a regular feature for the local horse riding community for over 25 years. The ride is approximately 9 miles in length encompassing over 40 jumps and includes three other local farms as well as Puttenham Common. Monies raised support the local Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, Riding for the Disabled and a number of other local charities.

FARM WALKS
The estate usually hosts a farm or estate walk during the year and recently has linked with the Surrey Farming and Village Week promotion run by the Surrey County Agricultural Society. The walks have proved extremely popular and have given local village residents the opportunity of exploring new parts of the estate.
 
A number of different societies and clubs use the estate on a regular basis including a local radio club, a gundog trialling club and both the Farnham Art Society and the Farnham Angling Society.

SCHOOL VISITS
School visits and tours have been held successfully over the years and have given hundreds of school children the chance to understand the workings of the estate in the Surrey countryside.

Bill Biddell is CEVAS accredited and organises and runs school visits on the estate. Visits can be tailored to the relevant key stage and year group and the wide range of enterprises, habitats and environments found at Hampton means that it is a wide ranging resource applicable to numerous learning outcomes. Typically visits include a woodland study, an insight into beef production, an appreciation of the managed landscape and a picnic. Bus and coach parking is convenient for such visits and the estate can offer shelter and WCs together with written handbooks, maps, and risk assessments.

There is also a wide range of one off events held throughout the year and the estate has the capacity to host and stage new events by request.
